
Whisk butter and caster sugar together until fluffy. Add a bit of heat to semi-melt the butter if needed.
Add in eggs and continue whisking until airy.
Slowly incorporate flour, baking powder, milk, and vanilla extract.
Place in a pan (mine’s 9’’x4’’x4’’), layer with parchment paper, and bake 375ºF for 30min (1hr for doubled amount).
Chill cake in the fridge overnight.
